Monthly Pre-Authorized Property Tax Payment Plan 

The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie is offering monthly pre-authorized payments for property tax accounts. If you want to participate in the program, please fill out this online form and attach a void cheque or pre-authorized debit form. 

Pre-Authorized Payment Plan Agreement

I/We the undersigned, hereby authorize the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie to withdraw a monthly amount for taxes, which is caluculated as the previous year's total taxes divided by 11 months for the first six monthls, namely Janurary to June from my/our financial institution on the last business day of each month. Adjustments to the montly amount will be made in July of each year, as necessary, to reflect any rate changes, at which time the taxpayer will be notified in writing.

It is your responsibility to provide our office with notice TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE DUE DATE to cancel this arrangement if your property sells or if you wish to cancel this method of payment. The Municipality reserves the right to cancel an existing pre-authorized arrangement if payments are not made regularly as stipulated. Any charges for non-sufficient funds, interest and penalties will be the sole responsibility of the taxpayer.

I acknowledge it is my responsibility to provide the office with notice two weeks prior to the due date to cancel this arrangement if my property sells or I wish to cancel this method of payment. The Municipality reserves the right to cancel an existing pre-authorized arrangement if payments are not made regularly as stipulated. Any charges for non-sufficient funds, interest and penalties will be the sole responsibility of the taxpayer.
